Prostitute Jailed For Stealing N1.6m From Nigerian U.S Based
On Wednesday, Two 22-year-old ladies, Emmanuel Carol a prostitute and Precious Aboh a entertainer was dragged before the Ikeja Magistrates Court for allegedly stole property which worth N1.6 million.

The two victims was said to be a resident of Lagos State, while NAN (News Agency of Nigeria) reports that Carol lives at the Oshodi area of the State and Aboh lives at at No. 15, Olaore St., Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos.

The Ikeja Magistrates Court accused Emmanuel Carol and Precious Aboh of five-count charge which are bordering on conspiracy, attempted murder and stealing and so on.

Insp. Ezekiel Ayorinde, the prosecutor told the court that the victims stole some items which include gold chains, phones, and wrist watches from Mr Darlington Ezenwaka at Church Street, along Oshodi road of the state.

The incident occurred at about 11:30 pm at Church Street, in which the item stole worth N1.6million.

The Prosecutor explained that Carol who was former girl-friend of Mr. Ezenwaka friend, while she gathered Precious and other four people to beat up Mr. Ezenwaka and his ex- boyfriend, Mr Madu Izuchukwu and they take away their valuables things.

Mr. Ayorinde said : “The complainant, a returnee from the United States of America, left to a club somewhere around Oshodi in company of his friend, Mr Madu Izuchukwu.

“The complainants were robbed of their valuable possessions on their way back by unknown people who attacked them with broken bottles, making them to sustain grievous bodily injuries.”

But the victims were caught by the Police on patrol, while the others four gangs escaped from the scene.

“After a series of interrogations, it was discovered that Carol was an ex- girlfriend to the complainant's friend, Izuchukwu,''

Mr. Ayorinde said the victims commits the offences contravened Sections 228, 243, 244, 285, and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.

The two victims told the court that they are not guilty of the offence against them, but NAN reports that the section provides for three years' imprisonment for the convicted thieves.

Omolade Awope, the Chief Magistrate granted the victims bail in the sum of N1 million each with two sureties.

While Mr. Awope postponed the case to Dec, 5.2016.
