The tenant,Logan Pierce told a television station saying he was shocked by his landlord's actions.
“I got a notification from one of the cameras on lunch the other day that it detected noise and was strange because both of us work all day every day,”
“I opened up the camera and kind of had to like quit the program and, like, restart it again because I didn't really believe what I saw.”
The landlord, Carlos Quijada, has been arrested by the Police in Colorado, where the incident occurred and is facing felony charges according to The Sun.
The source quoted the police as saying that landlords cannot enter tenants' homes whenever they like.
“Obviously landlords don't have the ability to go into tenant apartments and do whatever they want to do,”
Lt. Howard Black of the Colorado Springs Police Department was quoted as saying. “It was like a total violation of privacy. Just to have somebody to come in unannounced is enough, but then go forth with sleeping with somebody on your bed while you're not there. It was scary.”
The tenant, who said his wife was devastated to see her wedding dress used by the landlord, said they would leave he apartment.
“I guess the first thing that went through my mind was like complete and utter disbelief. I called my wife and said 'Honey, I think we need to move, like, immediately,” he said.
