The Brazilian Born Spain international has lighten up this season so far he has since scored 14 Premier League goals, as the blues have now taken an eight-point lead at the submit of the league courtesy of 13 successive victories.

“Did I want to go? Yes, yes, I was about to leave. But not because of Chelsea,” said the 28-year-old.

“There was one thing I wanted to change for family reasons but it wasn't to be, and I continue to be happy here.”
