The former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel scored his first goal for his new club, Tianjin Teda in China.

In a friendly match against German side St. Pauli on Saturday, which ended up 2-6 loss to the German side, John Mikel net for his club after 3 -0 down to make the scores 3 – 1.

The Super Eagle Captain moved from Chelsea and signed three year deal with the China club, while he played his first game for the team in a defeated match against Borrussia Monchengladbach, a German club before scoring in his second game against St. Pauli.

Mikel Obi, the 29-year-old player was very happy to show his ability to the team, between 26 minutes St. Pauli was leading by 3 goals, while Mikel put a goal back in 35 minutes to make it 3 - 1.

According to reports, Mikel goal came from a header in a delivered free kick, which makes the German keeper to fly into the net when trying to save the goal.

The Nigerian Player moved to China following a frustration from Chelsea Manager, Conte while he decided to move to Big Money Spender, Tianjin Teda in China.

He quickly settles down and adapts to Tianjin Teda style of playing.

The African Cup of Nation is going on; Gabon played 1 – 1 draw with Guinea-Bissau while Burkina Faso also played 1 - 1 draw against Cameroon in Group A.
