Man City too far from Chelsea to win title - Guardiola
Pep Guardiola, the current City's coach has admitted that their title chances are over, after they were crushed 4-0 by Everton on Sunday.

The defeat was the Pep's heaviest league defeat as a manager.

Romelu Lukaku, Kevin Mirallas, Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman all scored for the Toffees, as they inflicted Guardiola with fifth defeat of this season.

The blow leaves City 10 points behind league leaders, Chelsea.

“Yes. Ten points is a lot of points. The second one is three points. We have to see,” Guardiola said afterwards.

“I spoke with my players in the last three weeks or more, [and said], 'Forget about the table, focus on the next game and try to do our best to win'.

“After that, at the end of the season, we are going to evaluate our level and how our performance was, how the coach was, how the players were. After that, we are going to decide [on the future].”

Guardiola, who won titles in his first season with both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, also played down talk that he is facing the toughest challenge of his coaching career.

“No. I would say the exceptional situation was in the past. When you have eight years as a coach and you win seven titles and you're always winning – that is the exceptional situation.

“I have to look for the best solution to take the players to winning games again”, the Manchester city boss said.
