Fatal Accident In Bauchi Kills Two Lawyers, Others Were Serious Injured

Yesterday, a lone fatal motor with a Registration number YLA 564 XA was report to have an accident along Sade- Darazo highway in Bauchi State and took the lives of two people and others are injured.

Following the report, we gathered that the car was driven by Abdulsalam Adamu, a native of Yola Town in Adamawa State while the accident occurred due to the burst of his front tyre while on motion.

In a statement issued by SP Haruna Mohammed, the state Public Relations Command Officer, mention that as the result of the burst tyre the vehicle lost control and crashed into bush.

S P. Mohammed stated “As a result, the driver lost control and the vehicle skidded off the road and crashed into bush.

“Patrol Team attached to Darazo division visited the scene and rushed casualties to General hospital Darazo where one Sanusi Mohammed, 30, 'male' of potiskum in Yobe state and one unidentified male passenger were certified dead by a medical doctor.

“The other passengers admitted in hospital are Barrister Goni Muktar; Barrister Adamu Shuaibu Daya; Barrister Abdurahman Mustapha; Abubakar Sulaiman and Mohd Aiyuba all males of Potiskum LGA of Yobe State.

“The corpses have been deposited at the mortuary for post mortem examination, while efforts are being intensified to trace relatives of victims”.

The state police command declared that two people dead in the hospital while other Nigerian Lawyer which are victims of the incident are detained in the hospital following critical condition.
