The APC party of Anambra State plans to register over 750 card-carrying members, promising to allow a level playing ground for all candidates.

Following the begins of the registration and revalidation of members in the state, Mr. Chris Akomas, the Chairman of the APC National Registration and Re¬validation Committee disclosed this in an interview with newsman on Wednesday, saying that the APC party are looking forward to register between 750 and one million members with carrying cards.

Mr. Akomas said that the APC party had organized a system that will deal with both the old and new members.

According to the chairman, speaking about the representative of Anambra South Senatorial Zone, Senator Andy Uba who decamped to APC and registered in the party.

He said the party is working hard to make change to occur in the country, saying “We have come to make it easy and possible for all calibres of peo¬ple, both the old and new in the party to work together as a family, especially in the South East zone”.

“Change is taking root in the country, we want to ensure that the members we have exists and are focused and committed. It is an opportunity to up the tempo and open the gateway for the South East geopolitical zone to take her rightful place in the scheme of things in the country,” he declared.

A registered governorship candidate, Chike Obidigbo described the APC party as “the right place to be.”

Mr. Obidigbo urged the South East region to come out and register, saying that they are below the plans of things in the country.
