4. University of Lagos (state)

It was started back in 1962 with that first wave of establishing new tertiary educational institutions in Nigeria. It is one of the best universities in Nigeria with 12 faculties to offer:

At first the university accommodated only few hundred students, but presently their number has increased to over 45 thousand students. This makes Unilag the largest university of the country counting by its student number.

5. University of Ilorin (state)

6. Ahmadu Bello University

- Science

- Postgraduate school

The first set of students entered its walls in 2002 (over 1500 students). Its main aim is to affect the lives of people for good.
