The suspect was captured in his hotel in Aba area of the state on Monday; he was taken to the state police Command's headquarters in Umuahia.
Adeleye Oyebade, the State Commissioner of Police declared that Emeka was detained “following a tip-off that the suspect lured and abused young boys in his hotel.”
According to news gathered, the suspect was exposed by the victim's mother, Ifeoma who reported the case to the state police command, saying that her son Ndubuisi has been kidnapped by a man on March 24, 2017.
Since then the state operatives had been monitoring Emeka's hotel, until April 3, 2017 when the suspect was caught trying to escape from the state.
Emeka denied the allegation, claiming that he only help the victim to sleep in his hotel
When Interview, Emeka said, “I am a businessman. I come to Aba to buy goods, which I take to Lagos for sale. I do come to Aba with my son, who is 15-year-old. It was my son that brought the boy (Ndubuisi) to our room.
“He told me that the boy was driven away by his mother after a quarrel, and since it was late in the night, I allowed the boy to sleep with us.”
CP Oyebade disclosed that investigation is still going on.
