France international Samuel Umtiti has penned a new five year deal with his Spanish League side Barcelona this summer according to Eurosport.
The central defender, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford will now remain at the Camp Nou until 2023, but this time with an improved deal.

He initially signed a five year contract which included a €50 million release clause, and the two Manchester clubs were said to be ready to trigger the clause.
The Frenchman has however ended the Red Devils of luring him away from the La Liga side, after penning a new deal, and this time, the club didn’t reveal how much his release clause is in the press release from Barcelona.
Meanwhile, they are expected to discuss the issue extensively in a press conference scheduled for Monday, June 4.
