A traditional ruler in Delta state who was abducted by unknown gunmen has regained his freedom.
Channels TV reports that HRM Sunday Olisewokwu, the ruler of Ogodor Kingdom, was kidnapped by gunmen on Sunday, June 3, after invading his palace.

He was however released on Tuesday, June 5, and was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Confirming the release of the monarch, the police spokesperson in Delta state, Andrew Aniamaka, said that Olisewokwu was released somewhere in the suburbs of Asaba, the state capital and was recuperating.
Sources said the monarch while in custody of his abductors was able to make and take calls at some time.
