President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, June 7, met with service chiefs and other heads of security agencies in his office at the Presidential Villa for the third time in a week, Premium Times reports.
The latest meeting came amidst deteriorating insecurity in some parts of Nigeria, especially states like Benue, Taraba, Kaduna and Zamfara,
On Monday, June 4, the president met with service chiefs and after the meeting, it was reported that the inspector general of police, Ibrahim Idris, and the director-general of the State Security Service (SSS), Lawal Daura, went to meet with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami.

President Buhari was also reported to have also met with the security chiefs on Tuesday.
The news outlet reported that the Thursday’s meeting began at about 2:30pm.and was attended by all heads of security agencies including the director-general of Nigeria Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Abubakar.
The meeting ended just after 3:00p.m.
Meanwhile, had reported that President Muhammadu Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo, his vice, on Monday, June 4, held separate meetings with security chiefs at the state House in Abuja.
