Important Arsenal star backs Nigeria to win this year’s World Cup becautilize of teammate Alex Iwobi
Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is backing Nigeria to win this year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The 28-year-old joined Arsenal in January 2018 from Borussia Dortmund and he was impressive for the Gunners in the second half of the season.
Though, he was unable to fire them to Champions League spot next term, they will be campaigning in the Europa League alongside Chelsea next term.

And the Gabonese star says he is supporting the three time African champions due to his affiliation with his teammate Alex Iwobi.
He also added that he is rooting for the Super Eagles jersey and cannot wait to have one of those jerseys.
“I support Nigeria for World Cup because of my friend Alex Iwobi but to tell the truth also because of your Nike football kit, need one!!!”
Aubameyang scored 10 goals in 13 matches for the Gunners since he joined them in January in a four year deal.
He was at Borussia Dortmund for five seasons and scoring 98 goals in 144 matches in all competitions.

Before then, he was at French side Saint-Étienne for two seasons where he scored 29 goals in 54 games.
