Liverpool plot to sign £52m rated Barcelona star after UCL final heartfracture
– Liverpool are reportedly plotting to sign £52m rated Barcelona’s second-choice goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen as replacement for Karius
– The Reds are set to lose out to Real Madrid over Roma keeper Alisson
– But the 29-year-old former Ajax keeper is under the shadows of Germany’s Marc-Andre ter Stegen at the Camp Nou
Champions League finalists Liverpool are reportedly plotting to sign £52m rated Barcelona’s second-choice goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen as replacement for Loris Karius during the summer transfer season.
The Dutch international was in action for the Spanish giant in all matches as they claimed the Copa del Rey silverware, but could only start one game each in both the Champions League as well as the La Liga.
And with three years still left in his current contract, the 39-capped Holland goalkeeper will not go on the cheap as his release clause stands at £52m (60m euro).

However, the Premier League campaigners are eagerly shopping for a top shot stopper across Europe after last weekend’s Champions League defeat by Real Madrid where Karius’ displayed poor keeping techniques.
According to the UK Sun report quoting reliable Spanish source, Mundo Deportivo suggests that Reds’ eggheads are hoping to seal the deal for Barcelona’s second-choice goalkeeper Cillessen as Liverpool’s No1 next season.
Initially, Liverpool listed Roma’s Alisson and Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak as their two main goalkeeping priorities.
