Premier League champions Manchester City is reportedly plotting to seal a deal for highly rated Italy’s Napoli midfielder Jorginho before the commencement of the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.
Reports coming out of the Etihad suggest the Citizens are likely to cough out about £44million for the Italy international in deal that could be finalized on Monday after the Azzurri’s friendly game with Holland’s Orange.

The report further disclosed that both clubs and the player’s agent Joao Santos are satisfied with the progress of talks and are hopeful of sealing a deal very soon.
“An offer from City reached Napoli and we are waiting.
“They don’t seem to have rejected the offer.
“City would be very welcome, an opportunity not to be turned down.
“The coach is one of the best in Europe,” Santos was quoted as saying in the UK Sun report.
Interestingly, the 26-year-old originally from Brazil was known as Jorge Luiz Frello Filho is in line for seventh Italy cap after being included in the Azzurri squad that will tackle France Les Bleus tomorrow before confronting Holland’s Orange on Monday.
