– Los Blancos president has now made the Argentine tactician his major target this summer
Real Madrid are reportedly planning to offer Tottenham Hotspur a deal cannot reject to sign their coach Mauricio Pochettino this summer according to Daily Star.
The Galacticos went from winning their 13th Champions League title last weekend to becoming coach-less the following week after the resignation of Zinedine Zidane during the week.
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez has however turned to the Argentine tactician as his side’s priority target as they hope to defend their Champions League title, while they contend for La Liga next term.

But Madrid boss according to El Gol Digital is willing to pay Tottenham £45m (€51m) to land the Argentinian coach.
The Spanish news outlet revealed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has told the Bernabeu outfit to pay a huge sum as they are aware Pochettino is seen as one of the best tacticians in the Premier League.
Reacting to the transfer rumours linking him to the most successful club in Europe, Pochettino said that: “When Real Madrid call you, you have to listen to them,” he said.
“Although in this case it doesn’t depend on me. I have just signed a long contract with Tottenham and I am very happy there.”
The Argentine took over at Tottenham in 2014 and has helped them finish in among the top three clubs on the Premier league table in the last three seasons.
His personality both on and off the pitch are said to have attracted Madrid, however, well-known Spanish football journalist, Guillem Balague believes the Spanish giants are no longer interested, because they don’t want to deal with Levy again.

Balague told Sky Sports: “Real could see there was so many positives in signing him, not just the fact he can deal with the stars but how he improves players and how he works with youth players as well.
“But what they had in front of them was the possibility of negotiating with Daniel Levy for perhaps a month, even longer, with no guarantees whatsoever that they were going to get him.
“They know that Levy is a very tough negotiator, with Florentino having been in touch with him in recent seasons.
“They’ve decided to abandon the possibility of signing Mauricio Pochettino.”
previously reported that Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino says he is extremely happy at Spurs and has big dreams and many objectives to achieve in the North London club according to Talksport.
The Spurs manager was apparently a top candidate to lead the Bernabeu following Frenchman Zinedine Zidane’s abrupt resignation that shook the football world following his third successful Champions League trophy.
It is understood, that Los Blancos thought that Spurs may have opened the door for the possibility of a buyout clause in Pochettino’s recently renewed five-year contract.
