Shi’ites protest in Abuja, set ablaze flags of US and Israel

Some members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), also knows as Shi’ites has once again hit the streets of the federal capital, Abuja, to protest the continuous detention of their leader, Ibrahim El-ZakZaky.
They marched from the National Mosque after the Jumat prayer to the Julius Berger roundabout.
The Cable reports that the protesters claimed they were also protesting against the killings of their members in Palestine.
The protesters carried placards with: ‘Down To America’; ‘Free Palestine’; ‘Free Free Zakzaky’, as they prevented free movement of cars and people.

They eventually converged under the bridge, where they displayed the flags of the Unites States and that of Israel and set the two ablaze.
